OUR HISTORY

The East Surrey Choral Society, founded in 1961, is based in Caterham, although its members are drawn from a wide area in East Surrey.

Several concerts are presented each season in local churches and schools. Members are encouraged to share their love of music and of choral singing in particular - in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
The Concert repertoire is varied and challenging; rehearsals are enjoyable and rewarding. With the extra element of coaching in singing techniques, to enhance every singer's potential and improve performance.

The society is always pleased to welcome new members: there are no auditions. Rehearsals are on Tuesdays at De Stafford College, Caterham.
Alternatively, you can support ESCS through our "friends" scheme. Friends are guaranteed a complimentary ticket to each concert and a reserved seat.

If you would like to know more about the Society, please contact the Hon. Secretary, Gill English on (01293) 786358.

Rehearsals take place every Tuesday (in term time) from 7.45 - 10pm at De Stafford College, Burntwood Lane, Caterham.
