Singing with the President
Following a successful fortieth anniversary season in 2001/02, the Caterham-based East Surrey Choral Society has recently commenced rehearsals for its forthcoming concert of Christmas music in December at St. John's Church, Caterham on Saturday 14th December.
The thrill of performing at Croydon's Fairfield Hall and with the participation of its President, mezzo-soprano Della Jones, has boosted both the confidence and the number to over one hundred.
Under the committed and enthusiastic leadership of Ian Kennedy, professor of singing at London's Guildhall School of Music, the choir enjoys performing a varied repertoire in at least three concerts each year.
